USGP Finishing Order : In June, I had the privilege of witnessing one of the most exciting sporting events in the world - the 2007 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. The race was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We were lucky enough to sit right at the start of the J-Turn just after the front straight-away. This allowed us to capture the drivers while they were slowing down to enter the turn low and then bursting out of the J-curve high. This gallery contains pictures of the constructors and drivers in their finishing order. Most of the photographs were taken by my 12-year old son. As you can see, he has some real talent. Unfortunately, we were so caught up in the race that we missed getting pictures of 8th place finisher and BMW test driver Sebastian Vettel (filling in for the injured Robert Kubica) and Red Bull Racing's David Coulthard (who did not finish the race due to an early crash). Each constructor, however, is represented. If you like these photos, be sure to check back. I have over 500 like these that I will be editing and putting on the site soon. But for now, enjoy this lot! F1 is truly the most glamorous sport in the world.

USGP Finishing Order

Meeting F1 Drivers Lewis Hamilton and Adrian Sutil : In June of 2007 my son and I had the incredible privilege to have a private meeting with Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Adrian Sutil. This was one of the great thrills of my life. Lewis is our favorite driver. He was so kind, patient and gracious with us. It was a real treat. My heartfelt thanks goes out to Claus and Andreas for setting this up for us. We will never forget it.
